If I'm not in the middle of the XJ body swap, I would be interested. Had a ton of fun on that run at the ColoradoFest. We got three total stockers through it, but it has some more interesting lines as well.

So does that mean a total stocker could make it or is it a winch hi-jack fest with anything not lifted?

I'd like to attend...

keep in mind this would be my first Wheelin adventure....

There were two places where a stocker might need a strap if it is dry. One was mainly to keep the rig away from a rock on the drivers side. The other was simply because of traction. No it would not be a winch fest if your tires have decent tread. A lot of guys were totally surprised how good a stock Cherokee can handle a trail. I think all envolved would say it was a blast. While this run will not be an officially sanctioned NAXJA run, please remember the safety checklist. It's good common sense.

Maybe others who have done the trail can give you more insight.

hmmm... sounds fun. i'll definitely keep an eye out for the date. i only got to briefly play at the bottom of this trail at CO FEST since i was walking & gawking at the crew running carnage.

so are you saying this trail opens early (i.e. no snow)?

Trail is open pretty much year round. Can be really fun with a little snow in the right places.......

Hey, I would like to follow along... You're not gonna discriminate because my liscence(sp?) plate isn't green are you?

no worries... my plates aren't green either.
;)

Got a Front Skid plate and by this weekend I should have OEM rear hitch nutstrips and a Rear reciever hitch as well as a Front Reciever hitch... If I get them on Saturday Like I'm planning I'll throw both the reciever hitches in the trunk of my new XJ and try to get someone to let me know if they think they'll pass tech...
The rear is a stock towing package hitch... not worried about that much...

the front is an after market readyhitch (er something.) mounts to the front lower... goes through one huge hole (like a 24mm head) and then both the sway bar mounting holes...

I'll need two new pins.. some spray paint and a shackle for each but that should have me pretty close to ready for tech (short of an extinguisher and a 1st aid kit..)

need a few more things actually but I'll post that separate

hey i would like to go on the run with you guys. just let me know when is it going to be. i would like to see some of these co rigs since i just moved here from california and i am interested in meeting some fellow xjers and 4 wheelers
