chevy engine swap help.

Ok I got the '90 Chevy pickup with the 4.3 V6 with EFI, I want to put in a rebuilt 350 or a 454 with EFI from the same year give or take, for towing what all else would I have to change?
Wiring harness? Tranny? I havn't looked to see what tranny I have, will all the A/C, PS pump, Alternator ect. bolt right up?

I remember reading somewhere that the 4.3L engine is the same as a 350 except minus 2 cylinders so I would assume( you know what happens when you assume!!) that the front brackets would all mount up the same. Not sure on the bellhousing pattern though.

I have put a 350 in my XJ and know others who have done them in CJs. That doesn't really relate but I thought I would just let you know that a company called Advanced Adapters makes most everything you need as far as motor mounts, bellhousings, and exhaust. I am not real familiar with your current motor but I would expect that you will need to change the computer if you are running EFI. Knowing Chevy the other stuff will probably hook up fine.
