I need to vent about the local Mazda stealership. This little rant may cause this thread to be non-tech/off-topic, but I need to get this off my chest.
I went to the dealership (supposedly the God for all Mazda-related parts) and we to the parts window. When I told the guy that I needed the special oil filter wrench, he looked at me like I was a dumba$$ and said that they don't sell them. I asked him how this was possible if this was a "dealer only" tool. He said that they have to get them from their supplier.
You know what I think? I think this is their way of trying to get Mazda owners to come into their service department to have their cars serviced instead of the car owner doing it themselves. Lame.
I bought the tool I needed online, but it won't be here for a week or so. Just another bad experience with a dealer's service and parts department that I had to share. Maybe I'm being too sensitive, but I didn't like how this situation turned out. Oh well. Thanks for letting me vent.
