I have a Century Arms CEMTE G3 in .308 up for sale or trade. The gun is in mint shape and maybe a 100 rounds through it. Comes with (1) 5 rd magazine and a (1) 20rd magazine that came with it. (9) other mags I bought bulk at a gun show.

Looking for $450 cash or trade but looking for very specific things.

A Remington 700 in .308 or Savage long or short action in .308

or a pistol 9mm high capacity Springfield Armory XD, Taurus, or Smith & Wesson.

Must be 21 or older with no criminal background.

Any way to verify the production date of that gun Matt? Research indicates some versions by certain vendors that built the receivers for Century during certain production years have been labled "junk" or "less than favorable in comparison to early versions".....

Oh and I hate you for tempting me yet again...... :laugh3:

I could see if I can look up the Serial#. Give me some time.

This is my 2nd Century arms, my first one was a "Sporter" version (thumbhole stock) during the socialism/prohibition era where guns that had pistol grips, high capacity magazines, flash suppressors, and bayonet lugs were "evil" looking and the dumbed down versions were not threatening anymore.

After giving up hope of converting it I sold it, this one I found at the Firing line in Aurora on the consignment rack 5-6 years ago. It was very clean and fairly fresh (new) I snagged it for like $600 I believe. Maybe put 100 rd through it. I bought these bulk magazine at a gun show and to be completely truth-full I think a good gunsmith can tweak the mag area to fit the magazines better. the two that came with the gun work great, the bulk versions some need a little more coercing than others. There are two version, the CETME and the HK versions.

I wish I could get a REAL HK version but no luck under $2000.

I have too many tactical rifles and this one is a great combat rifle just a little heavy for a home defender/tactical all around rifle. I want the power of a .308 but more accuracy hence a Remington 700.
