canister style airfilters

hey everybody,

I'm looking to run a set of the new inner fenders parts from tnt offroad. with 38s I could certainly use it. problem is, it says for installation the factory airbox cant be used. I remember a while ago seeing some canister style air boxes that people were running with snorkles, but for the life of me I cant remember what they were called.

I did find one my RIPP for Jks but it was 300$:smoker:

Specter makes a canister type, not sure if thats what you are describing.

I thought I remembered them being made by spectre, but for the life of me I cant find it anymore

I am pretty sure I saw some Toyota trucks, mid nineties maybe? using a cannister style filter that seemed to flow a lot more air than the 4.0 needs.
Land Cruiser, maybe?

Early 90s Land Rovers, some Ford trucks and cars used a canister/cone filter setup, and K&N makes one as well. Apollo or something like that.
