In the process of trying to figure out why my fuel pump replacement went sour, I noticed a few wires going to something plastic that burnt up. Whether or not this is the problem, I'm not sure.
I replaced my fuel pump and filter (sock and in-line). The jeep was alive and well for about 30 minutes and then started bogging down upon acceleration and eventually whenever I tried to move it. It starts and idles(rough) and even revs up great. When I put it in 1st, I can barely get going. It feels like it's missing.
Here are some pics of the burnt mess. Incase you can't tell, its on the passenger side of the transmission, just hanging there.
Also, pics were taken from around the transfer case area facing forward towards the engine.
Thanks!
