Yes, there is a forest service campground. I don't remember the name, I've seen it in some camping guide or another. It's between St. Peter's Dome and the turn off to Mt. Baldy. It's to the right on the way to Cripple Creek. I've driven by it even though I was looking for it, it's not real easy to see.
