The Swamp Lake trail lies in the Sierra National Forest in the Sierra Nevada mountains east of Frenso. The trail offers scenic vistas of the high Sierras and technical wheeling with rock gardens, a few granite slabs and few ledge climbs . Popular campspots are located at Grouse Lake and Swamp Lake. The Frenso Four Wheelers help maintain the trail and have installed a toilet at Grouse Lake.
