I installed a grand chereokee brake booster almost a year ago into my 89. This morning I fired it up, my brakes must have been frozen it took 4lo to break it free and moments later i heard an air rushing noise. I thought I flicked my cb on for a sec. It's coming from the booster, and goes away when you pinch off the booster vac line. I can't get one till the 3rd of january. Is it ill advised to drive it with such a big vacuum leak? or should I just plug the line and drive it with manual brakes? Its only in town stuff. I have noticed high loping idle and unreal power, I guess because its running lean.
