Hello everyone,
I have a 93 Jeep XJ 4.0 HO which has severe Problems atm. It starts up perfectly, even after sitting long, but once it starts to warm up, the RPMs drop and it starts misfiring. If I step on the Gas, it gets even worse. I checked the grounds already and cleaned the throttlebody. I once unplugged the 02-Sensor and it seemed to be better then but the same problem occured later on. Whats strange to me is that its not throwing any Codes (Key-Method) or a Check Engine Light, even while unplugging the 02-Sensor.. Ill check for fuel pressure next week and replace the entire ignition-system which I dont believe will cure the problems but be good anyway. Could the valves be plugged by carbon? The Jeep was moved around the garage often but not really driven, so I'm guessing that could be the case. Otherwise I'm sorry if I open this thread wrong or redundantly, but I'm new here.
Maybe you could help me with al little run-down on what could be the most probable problems.
Thanks in advance and greeting from europe!
