Gonna sell my old pair... How to tell how much tread is left? Want to put a % tread left in the ad...

Are there 50% wear indicators built in? I ask because it seems like there's little rubber 'nibs' sticking horizontally out of the treads..

Look online and find what the thread depth is new.....15/32....or whatever then measure yours and do the math. If it measures (in the case of 15/32) 7/32 then it's 50% + -, for example.

it seems the protocol is to take a picture with a penny in the tread (might be a looney up there?)
let their eyes be the judge, low numbers are never good sounding.
