Best way to carry tubing?

I got the el-cheapo factory rack. I need to put a couple sticks (20') of tube on it. Well, maybe 6 sticks to start with.


What's the best way to secure it? It's round and slippery... Think I can just use a bunch of ratchet straps and make it work?

get an old iner tube, or something rubbery like that so when you rachet it down it has something to stick too as opposed to metal on metal. depending on how many tubes you cn also wrap the strap around them to pull the together and them all down at the same time, will help.

duct tape them together in a round shape, ratchet strap in 2 places around the mass then at least 2 more to secure points on the vehicle. or get a buddy with a truck
