A few of us are off to Baja in mid April and I'd like to invite anyone that might be interested in joining us for the camping trip of a lifetime.

The (Tentative) Plan, which is guaranteed to change:
Leaving the Tecate border crossing early April 16th. and returning Sunday the 23rd1,200-1,400 off road miles down to Loreto and back along the east side of the peninsula, crossing over to the Pacific side at least once. Maybe twice.

Camping every night on some of the most beautiful beaches Baja has to offer, with one night at the Bay at Loreto Inn for the ladies.

The first 4 days will be 200-275 miles a day ending in Loreto on Tuesday afternoon.
A much more leisurely pace on the way back up.

All reliable vehicles are welcome. This is not a wide open, parts breakin, trucks yard saling, hold on to your ass trip.

We have a couple ladies flying into Loreto on Monday that we will be joining when we arrive on Tuesday, so that is always an option for your significant other.

There will be 2-3 missions we'll be stopping by on along the way as well.

Post up if your interested.
Good times, good beers and good memories await!

Wow, I'm so glad to be a jeeper now. Its great that people doing stuff like this. I can't imagine some of the past car groups/forums I was on doing anything of this nature.
Jeepers are great people, and its nice to see stuff like this going on.
I was surprised by the "Pay-it-forward" thread on cherokee forum as well. Its great to see stuff like this happening!

Keep it up guys.

Interested... starting to work my magic!

What is the itinerary looking like? BTW, glad you posted up here!

Im looking at reworking the date a bit to hep squeeze you in. If we move it to crossing at Tecate early Monday morn, we wouldnt bother going all the way to Loretto and probably only go as far south as Bay of LA. Then come back up the Pacific side.

Puts us on a more leisurely pace, which is fine by me...
More relaxing=Happier wive's.
