I'm 19 years old and have been working on my jeep for about a year. I just put on my lift and tires this weekend, it only took me 3 days, but with out air tools and no one to help, it can be quite time consuming. well, my dad did helped with one leaf spring bold- lazy bum!
Here lies the problem, my Rustys 4.5 lift came out at about 5"+ oops! I dropped the Transferee case with the provided spacers 1" and installed axle shims, but I still have some substantial vibes. They’re not too bad, but I’m a picky person, to me any vibe is a bad vibe.
I'm on a limited budget sense I’m going back to college in a week or so. Any good low cost solutions??? $200 or lower

Any thoughts on "Rustys Long Travel yoke"? Will it help? at least for a temp fix at least till I can save up for a SYE and new drive shaft?

1st of all your lift is going to settle down a bit, but at 5" you will probably need a SYE. Unfortunatly a SYE and drive shaft is a bit more than $200. Save your $$ for a SYE as a long travel yoke will do nothing for your angles. Check your angles on the Ujoints and go from there untill you can afford a SYE.

I've managed to scrounge up some money to afford a SYE and driveshaft.. Not the hack and tap. Selling old control arms, springs, etc that i took off from the lift. The OEM Airbox and some old electronics like my GPS system had to go. Ebay is my savior!
No extra cash for someone to install, oh well looks like I get to work on my jeep some more here in a few weeks! Let the fun, cussing, and finger smashing begin again! Thanks for all the help.
