Everyone has their own preferance: I use mobil 1 for engine oil and K&N for the filter. Valvoline Synth blend for the diffs. I also use mobil one in the t-case. Now for the tranny, wether it's a stick or auto use what's in the book as in both applications it's been best (you might also search as the topic is being covered fairly often)

Engine gets Mobil-1 10w30, transfer case get Mobil-1 ATF, AX-15 has Mobil-1 gear oil, both diffs had Mobil-1 in them till had had the auburn installed, that has kendall and kendall additive. All my greases are synthetic, Mobil-1, Castrol or Drydene which is currently in my black grease gun, Mobil-1 is in my blue one.
Filters I use Mobil-1 or K&N, have also used Mopar OEM filters and tried Purolator but did not like the purolater. Picked up a case of M1-204 Mobil-1 filters as all three of our jeeps take the same oil filter now.
My 98XJ, 4.0L, 5 speed, 8.25 w/auburn, next wednesday goes to 4:10's. I'm just shy of 200,000mi too...
