Arm material.....

I used an old set of tera flex lower control arms and cut them and inserted them in the square tube, but if you cant get something like that, go to a nut and bolt supply place and weld in some acmi( sp? ) thread nuts or the thread you need for your ends.

i went rocken this weekend and smashed a few rocks with my arms and they handled great, 2X2X1/4 is my recomendation.

ive got old tubular control arms i could cut up, but i still am having a little trouble visualizing how you welded a round tube solidly into a square tube?
the tera flex arms have a long threaded end ( male ) and a shorter " nut " end ( female ) , cut the male end at around half the length leaving some of the non threaded length on the threaded piece ( weld area ) then you take the two pieces of the threaded / cut side and insert them in at the angle you want at the depth you are looking for to get your desired length then tack it all together and double check every thing, give yourself the length to weld the bushing end to the square tube almost fully flush, you might need to do a little grinding. next start to fill the gaps on the threaded end of your long arm, let it cool at least every two passes when you are done, grind for fit and appearances and there you go.

hope this helps some

well i didnt need threaded insearts i just milled out the tubing to a 2.5" radius then tigged a jonny joint in there. and ya i kno i dont have any adjustabily but if its messured rite shoudlnt need any
