Anyone want to trade shafts perhaps?

Yeah yeah I know this should probably be in the for sale/wanted section. Anyways...Im going to be running Indy on Saturday...and I would like to have another set of driver's side D30 (really prefer 297's) axle shafts. I'll be headed from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs tomorrow evening. I have 4 fawking sets of driver's side (297x) shafts...so if anyone would care to trade I'de be much obliged . I would buy some off someone, but being in a rather crunch for money right now (have just enough for this last trip for the rig)...I'de rather be able to trade...

So any takers?

Yeah those of you that I KNOW are gonna chime in about running the D30 on Indy etc. can just go fark yourselves :lecture: I plan on having a little better luck this time around...might help not having to be a winch rope b*tch for Led's Truggy this time...:wave:

Wait, so you have DS shafts or you need DS shafts? Way you got that worded is you'd have 5 sets by the end of this trade.

If that is in fact the case I think I can help. I've got a pile of drivers side shafts and could use a passenger side long shaft. Just gotta make sure they are 297x flavored.

Sorry about the wording, brain was a little fried after a Differential Equations exam this morning . Yeah I *have* 4 sets of passenger side backups, and only *have* one set of driver's side shafts for backup. So I would like to trade a passenger side set for a drivers side set, two if ya got em

I only have an extra drivers side inner. No stub outter shaft to go with it. If you're still interested let me know, I'd gladly trade it for a passenger side inner.

Yup it's a 297x and I'll PM you with a # now.

Justin, If you come by my house I have a complete set of 297 (actually 760x) jointed shafts you can borrow.If you end up needing them because of breakage all I ask is that you replace them with the same and get them back to me ASAP. These are shaft/joint assemblies without unit bearings.

Hey Jeff, still gonna come by and grab that set of shafts from ya, just gonna do it when I leave here in not too terribly long for Penrose. Managed to kill an MTR on I-25, so got in kinda late. Unfortunately my spare, come to find out, is rather out of round...or should I say rolls like an egg that has tread...bleh. Gonna be an interesting weekend of driving...
