I have a set of stock TJ take-off with probably 10K on them. My 2-3" lifted XJ needs shocks. I'm sure this has been done before, but a search came up with nothing. Only post similar was for JK shocks.
shocks are an easy swap. it should only take you a matter of minutes to swap one out and see if it works or not. give it a shot and come on back and reply what you found.
Well I did a little more reasearch, and they should fit perfect. They may also be a good option for ordering shocks at the auto parts store for a cherokee lifted 2'3"
Stock Jeep TJ shocks:
Extended: 24.8
Collapsed: 14.8
The TJ has a curb weight of 3200LBS and the Cherokee is very close to that. Write up would be the same as FreemansXJ:
