Anyone looking for stock tires in greater NJ area?

Hey, guys -

I have a pair of stock-size tires I'm looking to unload, preferably to someone in the NJ area.

Those of you at NACFest this year will remember that I enjoyed the distinct pleasure of losing a tire to a stump on Turtle Thursday, and that I picked up a pair of Liberator A/Ts at the nearest Wal-Mart that evening.

Well, around Labor Day I decided that I ought to have all four corners the same (my two surviving Toyos had about 50K on them) before winter, so I used that as an excuse to upgrade to 30x9.50s.

However, my inner tightwad balked at simply throwing away two essentially brand-new tires (the Libbys seemed to handle well, and I only put about 500 or so miles on them), so I had them dismounted and bagged, figuring that if I could get a few bucks for them, I'd feel better about not running them bald.

I'd have posted about this sooner, but work's been busy, and one thing or another kept me from getting around to it until now. So,

For Sale:

Two (2) Wal-Mart Liberator A/T tires, P225/75R15, less than 1000 miles on them. I got the road hazard warranty (was free), but don't currently know if that is transferrable. If there's interest, I can see about finding out.

They seem to ride well, have decent off-road grip, and appear to handle all right in the rain. The only reason I pulled them off was (1) to go to 30s, and (2) since I occasionally run this thing on my 50 mile commute to work in the Winter or the rare weekend, I wasn't sure if I would feel comfortable with a "C" temperature range tire, seeing as I've only ever run "B" range up to now.

They're in excellent shape, and would make good spares for someone who's looking to replace a compact spare with a full-size one.

Asking price is $80 for the pair (rims not included), and I'm willing to deliver them if it's not too far from home.

I realize the market is not exactly booming for stock rubber, but maybe someone out there is looking for a cheap full-size spare, or has a set of these already and is thinking about retiring a trail-worn one to spare duty?
