Anyone know how to make a HEI distributor communicate with a 94 Cherokee?

As I understand it the the HEI distributor doesn't connect to the crank positioning sensor? is there something from the old distro that I can pull out and use? wiring module or bypass? Thanks for your input.

Not sure what the real question is but the CPS feeds the ECU and the ECU feeds the distributor.
