Anyone In Indiana?

There are several Hoosiers here.

I'm sure they'll speak up eventually.

The NAXJA Midwest Chapter welcomes you.
Thick skin isn't mandatory, but is highly recommended.:jester:

I'm in Parke County ... about 30 min. S.W. of Crawfordsville.

I met an old man(looked to be about 107) driving a brown chevy & towing a beat up green xj behind it. He was on Rt. 45 in Ill. going north. Had Ind. plates on the truck do you know him?

Another welcome to rockjock from S.ILL.

Be wary of this guy.
My dog warned me about letting him around my shit.

I heard he likes to melt tranny shift cables with his cigarette lighter for fun.

Brad ... after this weekend, I'm having enough self doubt about my own character, that I'm going to seek counseling.

And Mark ... there is no way Brando would have let me anywhere's near Brads shifter cable ... no way in hell!

Jim ... you blew past me like you were going to a house afire. I threw a hand up, hit the window (cause it was up), and you were gone!

Yep ... sorry I missed you while I was in town ...

Plymouth here, nortthern part of the state.

sounds like there is alot of people from around here. I was thinking about joining but I don't want to drive to Chicago to get together. Maybe if there were get togethers in this area I would be more willing to become a member.

I have been broke ever since my last trip out there. I have been just keeping it moving so i can get to work. badlands is a very different place when it is raining.

Chicago is not the capitol of the MWC... we have members from Ohio to Wisconsin to Oklahoma and everywhere in between, and we wheel all over. Don't let the geographical enormity of the MWC Army dissuade you from joining the best Jeep club on Earth.

I have been looking for a local club. But there are not any in my area. Plus I'm looking for a family club where my son can learn to wheel correctly. And one which does thing with trails. And that works to benifit wheeler all over not just that one club. This is very hard to find in a local small club. I just want to make sure my son will be able to wheel the same spots I take him today.

finding a small local club that can benefit all wheelers across the country is going to be a tough task. they just do not usually have the resources.

that's why a club like NAXJA is a great thing. Not only do we have smaller chapters that can act like a smaller local club, we also have the full organization with the resources to make a difference in helping keep trails across the country open.

my 2 cents
