I contemplating buying a snowmobile out of the classified ads in Denver. Problem is I'm in NY. I really want this sled, make and model and such. I'd like to see if anyone would go out and check it out, maybe fire it up make sure it runs before I put a downpayment on it and then finalize with the guy.

I don't know crap about snowmobiles other than how to ride them.

Looks like this idea is shot in leg

They guy wont' let any of you guys go and start it to make sure it runs, he wants me to put down a deposit to secure transaction then he wants me to pay for it, then one of you guys could check it out

My BS detector went off, I told guy to fawk off in other words.
