I just redid my most of my cooling system.
Radiator (leaked), water pump, fan clutch, fan shroud, belt, thermostat, thermostat housing, inlet pipe, hoses and fan switch (mine's a Renix).
Radiator (OSC), thermostat and housing (Motorad), fan switch (Standard) came from Rock Auto.
Fan shroud (some Chi knockoff), belt (Continental), water pump (Gates), fan clutch (Hayden), inlet pipe (Dorman), hoses (gates) came from Amazon.
Didn't overheat but leaked coolant very slowly and only when hot.. As long as I kept it topped off, it was OK. Ran for years like this. As I prepared for recent smog test, I decided it was time. Previous radiator was swapped in around 2007, likely along with the wp, and belt. In the 24 years I've owned it, I never changed the fan clutch. It appeared to be the original.
Still no sign of any overheating, even on hot Socal day, stuck in traffic or a long red light. Temp gauge just barely goes past the 210 mark in this condition. Once moving again, or in cooler weather (~ mid 70's) gauge sits below 210. Best part, no coolant loss.
