Another Noob!

:wave1: Hello all!

After years of just waiting for the right cheap XJ to come along, it finally did....$900 and she was mine. 1998 w/96k on the clock, and although it looks great in the pic it does have some small dents and minor rust, so no, I'm not afraid to scratch/dent it

Just got started, but so far have installed RE 3.5 SR lift/shocks, RE SYE/CV Driveline, RE Trackbar, AJ's Sliders, front hooks, and the BFG's. Still on stock axles so not ready for anything hard-core yet, but I do look forward to meeting ya'll and spending some time in the dirt :cheers:

Guess I should mention it had a blown head gasket when I bought it, but I own an automotive shop so no big deal. The previous owner was a college girl from MI (hence the little rust) and when it overheated she drove it until the pistons seized in the block! However, when it cooled she then drove it to our shop and her dad just wanted to dump it off instead of paying to fix it. Engine is strong with great oil pressure, so it was a great buy.
