So Santa showed up last night and left a 91 Briarwood in front of the house for my son Daniel. 4.0 HO, power everything, leather seats, etc. Seems the young man has more bells and whistles on his rig than I do. Wonder how that happened.

Guess I'll need to get him a Learners Permit now.:rattle:

I've already told him that any work thats needed will be done by him. He's gonna have to learn how to fix....not just how to drive it.

Can you think of a better way to inspire him to learn wiring skills, ladder logic, etc???

Now if your were a truely evil Dad, everything under the hood would have the name "Lucas" on it. :flamemad:

Poor kid would go live in a cave after that.

So where IN the house are ya parkin the yougsters heep? :roflmao: Last time I was in your neck of the woods your front door was a little small for the heep to pass through....:D

Well, from what I've seen of Daniel and his eagerness to wrench..... you won't have to poke and prod him to learn. His mother will probably get fed up with his wanting to eat dinner out in the garage, sticking his food with a 3/4" wrench/fork....... :D

Now, the real question is: Will a 16 year old keep the wood sides of a Briarwood? :D

Nice! Glad you found a better one for your son, I bet he had a great Christmas :)

So... do you need an 8.25"? Or does the saying "like father like son" ring true when it comes to Jeep axles?

well, if it can get some good use no sense in junking it.

somehow I knew you were only in this thread to give me shit about that when I clicked it. You around this weekend? Assuming the snow isn't too bad....

Awesome pic Frank! Daniel's a great kid, you've got a lot to be proud of in that youngster. The world needs a whole lot more kids like him.

I look forward to seeing him 'wheeling with his old man on the trails in his new ride!

Judging from the kids in my neighborhood it seems that people not many parents do any PARENTING these days. Cept for frank of course.
But anyway X2

and I promise to stop hijacking, jeep looks real clean, hell it's better than mine.

If Daniel ever wants an extra hand, let me know. He paid his dues under Seth's Jeep.
