im having trouble searching this:

what fuel rail and injectors will i need? which injectors interchange with the newer style?

?......

ive read about using the '99 injectors with the ho fuel rail, but things have to be zip tied together? is there a right way to do it? i know i will have to redo some fuel lines, but im unclear as to how. are the "99 injectors interchangeable with ones from a car that they offer performance parts for?

You will have a slight misalignment between the head ports and the bottom of the ports on the intake causing a ledge on the inside if you try to put the 99' manifold onto your renix. In order to utilze the 99's fuel rail you have to zip tie your old renix injector connectors onto the new injectors because the clips aren't the same. It will work fine that way, but if you don't want to do that you can get the connectors off of the 99' and splice them into your renix's wiring. The renix fuel rail has an inlet and an outlet with a rising rate fuel pressure regulater on one end. The 99's fuel rail is different. When I stuck a 99' model engine into my cherokee, inorder to use the renix system I tig welded an outlet on the 99's fuel rail since it only had an inlet, and ran an inline adjustable rising rate fuel pressure regulator. On the 99's the fuel rail only has an inlet and no regulator either...I guess the pressure was controlled by the computer but I dunno. And yes the 99's injectors are interchangable with some higher pound performance injectors from ford...I'm sure someone on here will know exactly what interchanges though.
