Get in my otherwise splendid '98 XJ when it's been driven that day and the airbag light comes on, ya start the engine, and w/n 15 seconds or so, it goes off.
Get in that puppy after he's been sitting all night, and the airbag light stays on for about a mile or so, then goes off and all is well.
Don't care to hear from the steaming turds who don't worry about the state of the airbag light, as as for the rest of ya, any ideas? I'm kinda thinking that the capacitor that stores energy for busting off the air bag in cases where the system voltage (energy) has been interrupted is leaking down.
Ideas?
