well, i got home today, and decided to cut the fronts [im waiting on the rears for now, i might cut them straight back and retub the fender wells.. might.

anyway, i think it came out pretty clean. i got some of the trim plastic stuff, and it looks pretty decent.

is there a way to make sure it stays on there good, epoxy, something else?

anyway, here are the pics

just exited is all, ha ha,
car show on wednesday, im signin her up [i dont care to win anything, i just want to sit next to some other jeeps]

i've got to go get some undercoating for the wheel wells now, and keep all that rust from coming back...

how secure is that hi lift? id be worried if i were ever in an accident with that thing mounted on the hood, and the rust really fast if you leave it out in the rain.

i dont drive with it on [normally] i had it on there from my last wheeling trip. its on there VERY securely. there are 4 bolts holding each "handle" to the hood, with a 3inch washer on the inside holding the two on each side.

then there are two 1/2 inch bolts with wing nuts holding the jack on the handles. i would NEVER think about driving it like this daily. especially with the rain we get here...

but i am leaving it on for the car show near me on wednesday... just looks so darned cool.

or redneck. but that's only my opinion.
your fenders look really good though!
what did you use to finish 'em off?
I can't seem to find that trim stuff except on rocklizard and they're sold out.

Nice and clean. Where is the show on Wednesday?

its a pretty small one, its at Bear Mountain State Park [in Harriman State Park]

though over 200-300 cars go, and just as many motorcycles. they have them every wednesday. its really just a way to gather everyone once a week, and hand out prizes and such.
