I removed the ACOS adjustment coller when I fit new springs to reduce lift by the thickness of the coller. Due to flex my coils would constantly drop down from the upper bucket and pop and bang back in place. This was eating up my upper spring isolator pads. I found that the adjustment coller screws right up tight onto the top coil wrap and holds the spring perfectly. No more noise and with the weight of the tire it still drops down to the extended length of the shock. I'm liking my ACOS again and it has a nicer than stock upper bumpstop that can be spaced down for a fine tune of the bumpstop height.
