Since I am not a member of a local club (hopefully soon) I would like to hook up with someone in or close to Longmont Co. who likes to wrench on there rig as much as I do and that has room for that friend in need to hang out on weekends to do just that. I live in a townhome complex by Airport and Nelson Rd. and the damn HOA just will not let you work on your car unless it's in the garage with the door shut. Well for one I have a little too much stuff in my garage to get in there and if I didn't it would be so tight you couldn't even walk around the car anyway. They are one car garages made for compact cars. Hit me on the PM or call and let's hook up. I'm 35 years old but age doesn't matter as long as we have the same intrest such as wheelin!!!!:D :callme: 303-772-1647 :callme: :cheers:GET BEER BUILD RIG !

Sounds like you need to buy your neighbors some beer to keep them from calling the HOA on you. Is it in the bylaws that you have to have the door closed? Because that is unsafe if you are working with anytype of chemicals. It sounds like something you could fight. Where are you at exactly? I'm over in the meadowview townhomes, (SW of airport and nelson) and I've never had any problems with the HOA. I'm trying to finish my PhD at CU so pretty much every weekend I'm working, and the wife claims any time I free up. So the jeep is on the backburner until I finish this summer.

Man you have to be right there by me. I live off of gooseberry dr. Yeah they sent me a packet of papers telling me all the rules of the HOA and it actually says that the door has to be closed. Anyway it don't really matter the garage is so freaken small you really can do anything but maybe work on the engine. I just finished putting on my Warn sliders and I had to pull the jeep cross ways in front of the door to get underneath it and my neighbor that just moved in above me came home and I was under it when she pulled up to go into her garage and she acted like she couldn't get in so she just laid on her horn until I cimbed out and had to show her that I was not blocking her:doh: . So I can only guess whats going to come out of that. We are going rounds right now:mad: because she lives alone but she sounds like shes wrestling a group of midgets up there and I have kids that go to bed at 7:30. She has no respect so.......you gives none you gets none in my book. Anyway it would just be nice to have a nice roomy area to wrench on the jeep thats all:soapbox: . Get your jeep in running condition and lets go wheelin! Do you and your wife like to camp?

I've got room I tend to lend out time to time. Long as it's not long long term, ie. more than a week or two at a time. I also use the area to paint and store my other cars. You just aren't allowed to make any snide British car comments unless you pull up in one! ;) I feel your pain in regards to HOA's. Had one when I lived in the PRB as well. Very entertaining to mess with, and boy did I! They had rules named after me by the time I moved. We bought a house on the west side of Loveland. Best thing about my location is I'm in the county and zoned commercial. I can pretty much do what ever I want. I'm even toying with the idea of getting a dealer license since I can use my location for it. We have a two year old as well and are into the family wheelin' thing too. We've been doing trips with the Mountaineers for the last year or so. Club is open to all makes and there are 3-4 XJ's. Gimme a PM if you're intrested...

what the hell you guys have like rules for your neighborhoods ? that insane
We been Californicated!!!

The whole idea of keeping your yard clean is a good one, it's just that some take it to silly extremes. Some anal retentive starts to worry about property values and then another, pretty soon everybody is installing the same brand and wattage of light bulb on their front step.

My parents live in a devolopment that has decent acreage throughout the area. Someone decided thay wanted to display a rainbow flag: Now THAT got people talking! LMAO
