99 xj crank no start

I have a 99 xj that ran fine. but on a hot day i shut it off and went to restart it and it would no restart. I hear the fuel pump kick on, and i replaced the cps sensor. Just wondering if anyone has any idea. i comes up with an asd (auto shutdown) code. It seems to me the asd relay is not kicking to allow power to start the truck. I have a spare computer I was going to try but I figured I would ask around first before going any further.

Did you try swapping out the ASD relay?

I did swap out the asd relay and checked for blown fuses in the fuse box. I don't remember the exact code. i haven"t been near the jeep in three weeks.
