98 Grand Cherokee TSi Windows Intermittently working

Hi guys. I have a '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee TSi with about 300k on it. Lately, the power windows (all of them) will stop working, then the ignition on chime will sound and the windows will work again for a few seconds, then they stop until the ignition on sound chimes again. This happens whether the engine is running or not. Could this be the ignition switch/cylinder?

Is the door open or closed when it chimes? Do the windows operate if you move the door?
