Along with owning an 98 XJ I also have a 96 Explorer. 150,000 miles on it.
Just got a DTC Code of P0420. Catalyst issue. Could this be O2 sensor? At worse case a catalytic converter? EGR replacement needed?
Anyone else get this code?
If so, how did you rememdy it?
I'd really hate to have to do a converter on it. Those things for the 96 model are soooo expensive.
Any thoughts or help would be great. Thanks you.
