Well, Ive decided to sell my XJ project. Im going off to college soon and just can't afford a dedicated trail rig. I will remind everyone, this is a PROJECT. It needs quite a bit of work, but if you have the skills it shouldn't be a big deal
Heres the skinny95 XJ sport, 4.0/AW4/231, i think it has about 160k on the ticker. I drove it for a few months before I tore into it and it ran fine. It will need tuned up and whatnot from sitting. The fuel tank is gone, battery and air box are gone too . Jeep has a Banks header on it also
Front axle is a low pinion D44 from a 76 Ford Highboy, big hubs, 1/2" wall tubes, big brakes, 8 lug, C's cut and turned 7 degrees, New 5.13s, welded carrier, new spicer u-joints, new calipers, pads, and rotors (rotors have surface rust)new bearings, seals, balljoints (on p-side) Drilled and tapped p-side knuckle, WFO hi-steer arm, Pair of GM draglink ends, Tie-rod is 1 1/2" .250 wall, 3/4" heims on each end. Stock front XJ driveshaft, will need lengthened
The XJ has the stock 8.25 in it still, but I do have either a 14 bolt or D60 rear to include, Ballistic disc brake brackets, brand new 3/4 ton GM calipers and brand new 8 lug rotors, new perches
Front suspension consists of YJ rear springs with 2 leaves added. Sitting at about 5.5"..Front crossmember is made from 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 1/4" Angle, side plates are 3/16". It will need plated on the inner part of the unibody area as well. Front has been stretched a little over 2".
Rear springs are Rough Country 4.5", I had planned on changing them out, but they work for now.
The interior is gutted, have the seats, found floor rot and a bad patch job. Most of the passenger side floor is removed. I got a 16 gal poly fuel cell to include, set of LED tails, probably quite a few odds and ends to go with. Its sitting on 33x12.5 16.5 rollers up front, they are a stock backspaced wheel. I have the steering box pulled out, and pitman arm off to be reamed out for the GM ends. you will have to get different wheels to get the draglink end on the steering arm due to the backspacing.
I will even include the reamer I bought from Snap-On for the pitman arm.
I have the front header, grille, headlights, etc just don't have them on. The body in the rear is cut, had plans to comp cut it..
I really don't want to sell it, but just going away to school and the parentals don't really want it sitting around...I don't really have a choice. Jeep is located in Virden, IL. Will get pics up here if anyone is interested...Im asking $2200 obo..
