I am going to look at at 93 XJ 4.0 to purchase.

Other than the usual stuff any issues to look for?

I have a 93 and I don't think there is anything specific to the year. First upgrade to consider would be a 95-96 dual-diaphragm brake booster. Made a HUGE difference in my braking. Plus it's bolt in and there are plenty of write-ups.

just look for rust everywhere. even around the gas tank. whatever else is mechanically worn is cheap and easy to fix...get a jeep.
