hey was up having trouble picking gears for my xj?im looking for sumthing that will pick up speed quick since i like sand dragging but i also need sumthing that i can drive on the freeway?any suggestions?

Yes - give us more specifics. The transmission and tyre size you're planning on running for this would be helpful, as would engine and transfer case.

If you have a 4.0L.. grab a set of axles out of a 4cyl XJ and swap them in. Should be 4.10s.. or if you are really lucky 4.56s
