60deg-90deg gm v6 adapter

I'm looking for a bellhousing adapter to stick a 4.3 v6 into my 2.8 ax5 equipped jeep.
I know the trans is a pos but I dont want to change it, just making the jeep last another year then I'm buying a newer one

Or if anyone knows where i can find a 3.4v6 from a 93-95 camaro or firebird for cheap that'll do too
if someone has or finds a engine, remember i'm in manitoba canada so i would prefer it to be closer to me. minnisota north dakota would be good maybe a little further if cheap enough

thanks
Mike

Can't help you on the engine, but have you checked Advance Adapters or Novak Conversions for the adapter yet? Google should turn either up fairly quickly - I don't recall the URL's offhand.

EDIT - Almost forgot! When crawling the boneyards, don't neglect the FWD cars you see. Check the back side of the block for a second starter mounting pad - the "Goodwrench Service Replacement Engines" had starter pads on both sides, so they could be use FWD or RWD/4WD. Just another thought...

I cant justify spending $3-400 on an adapter when i could get a 3.4 for a little more than that locally.
I was hoping somebody has a used one that they dont need anymore.
advance adapters wants $455.40
novak does not carry one most likley because the ax5 is a pos

but thanks for the fwd motor idea, I had no idea they did that the replacment motors were set up for either front or rear wheel drive.

thanks Mike
