My jeep uses a .840 Input shaft in the Transfercase..
I had a second Transfercase laying around.. From a 95 XJ.. It has the .750 Input shaft..
Normally, This would be an easy deal, just swap Inputs.. The problem is, I didnt realize the difference until the day after i put the 2low and SYE in the XJ Case..
So the difference is less then 1/10th of an inch.. and the seal seems to ride about 3/10ths Of an inch from the top on the .840 input shaft..
Should i quit worrying and just run it? Someone advised i seal the T-case too the trans for extra peace of mind:wierd:
