2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4dr
90,000 Miles.
4.0L
Automatic (AW4)
Cloth interior with mud mats.
Power Windows and Locks.
Off-Road stuff:NP-231
4.56 gears - Open Differentials.
4 wheel disk brakes (Rear ZJ brake conversion).
JCR front bumper with WARN M8000 Winch.
Rear bumper was made by previous owner -Sturdy.
Dana 30 Low Pinion axle front, 8.25 axle rear.
Clayton Long arm in front, Leafs in back.
The lift was 5.5" but I imagine it has sagged over the years.
Detour Off-Road rock rails tied into frame.
33X12.50X15 BFG All terrain on 10" wide wheels. I just had these rotated by Farm and Fleet. They are 3 years old.
Bushwacker Cutout flares.
Stock Aux fan, aftermarket electric primary cooling fan, and a cooling fan for the fuel rail/intake.
The Bad.
The vehicle was used as a trail vehicle by the previous owner.
And I used it as a daily driver/trail vehicle.
It is dinged up. It is scratched. There is no headliner or rear speaker pods - and the radio has never worked for me.
The front windshield has a vertical crack in the center due to washing mud off when it was hot.
I have tried to keep up with the rust starting on the lower door lips, but I've fallen behind a bit.
There is a spot starting at the front of the pass side rain gutter that if caught soon, will be a non-issue.
The Primary cooling fan is manual. I seldom use it in the winter except while trail riding.
It has a minor heat soak problem common with all late model Cherokees. If you run the primary cooling fan for 3~40 seconds after shutdown, it's a non-issue.
There is vibration which starts around 55 or so. It started a year ago and I haven't bothered to trace it as most of my driving is under 45.
This vehicle has never left me stranded. I wouldn't be afraid to drive this to the Badlands just as it sits.
I simply have too many vehicles and this one needs to go.
Thanks for looking - Ron
