I am looking to lift my XJ again and add axles this time around. When we lifted my jeep the first time we had some issues with the front leaf bolts not wanting to thread in to the wedges that come off the uni-body. So i know that i am gonna need to cut them off and replace them but while i was at it i thought i would ask if doing four link in the rear would be a better way to go, and how difficult is it to get the angles for the suspension right.

Depends on how much money and work you want to put into it. T&T sells a kit right out the door that seems to work great. I have zero real world experience with it, and it is real pricey. Just an option though.

Also could you not just use a tap and die kit on the leaf spring mount? Just another idea.. It is Friday at midnight and a few beers have gone through the system.
