* Dont' Let Mileage Discourage You. "So many new parts it shouldn't be called a '96". (Avg = 14k mi/yr.)
Come by, slam doors and drive to appreciate. (My previous vehice ran STRONG thru 300k.)
- Doors, windows, steering, shifting all feel 'tight' not sloppy.
- I live at 8400', and this is a mountain vehicle made to handle snow and ice, as well as canyon roads. It's also surprisingly comfortable on the highway. Built as my daily driver and photo excursion vehicle.
- Travels well in up to 2 ft. of snow, and goes up my 15% grade driveway with 12+ inches. (16" depending on snow type is just a little too much. However, after 2nd or 3rd run at 300 ft. drive & I'm out!)
- Tires factory siped. Xcellent on snow and ice. Handling and tires give very 'stable' feel in winter driving.
- Lot's of parts replaced to make it this way (lift kit, plus track bar, drag link, stabilizer, shocks, tie rods and ball joints, plus many others: brakes, Xenon Ultra Bright Headlights, Pitch and Roll Meter, cup holders, Fan Clutch, Water Pump, Belts and Hoses, U-Joints, *Brand New Rear Hatch Shocks* etc. etc. etc.)
- Sept. 20th: Fully inspected and stated to be in 'very good condition'.
- Sept. 23rd: Reg. Scheduled Transmission Service & Inspection (TTC, Boulder)
lean bill of health and ' in great shape and should last quite a few years'.
