Hey guys, I know this isn't what most of you roll in, but didn't know if anyone would want it, if for nothing else than the LT1. Copy and pasted from my Craigslist listing...
I have for sale a 1995 Caprice Classic 9c1 ex-police vehicle. It is absolutely chock full of all the heavy-duty options and accessories. Do a Google search on Caprice 9c1 and be amazed at all the options they included. This model has been spruced up a bit by yours truly however, and it's downsides from the police package have been removed and some creature comforts added in their place. I basically took it from being a utilitarian police vehicle to a nicer street vehicle but kept the benefits of the police package. Here's an overview of the vehicle...
1995 Chevrolet Caprice Classic/Impala SS-180,000 miles
LT1 350 Corvette Engine
4L60 Automatic Transmission
both of the above together equals a super solid drivetrain
Engine-
-Custom Built Air Intake
-A.I.R. Pump completely disabled and removed
-Royal Purple Synthetic Oil run through the entire time I've had it.
-Two month old Optima Red Top battery
Interior-
-Gray leather front seats from a 1996 Oldsmobile 88 LSS.
-Gray leather rear seat from a 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS
-Custom painted black dashboard and trim pieces-looks good-I used Krylon fusion for it all, it truly looks factory and not done by some novice.
-Cavalier steering wheel which deleted the column airbag (not done by me)
-Impala SS door panels
-2 window regulators have been replaced with the new style rollers (for anyone that knows these cars, you know they break often, this newer style is almost bulletproof)
-I added the factory trunk mat as well
Exterior-
-White paint (looks like it may have been a Maaco job)
-Side moulding delete (I did this myself, it looks much better with the rubber gone)
-15x7 American Racing Outlaw II wheels, tires in good shape as well
Problem areas...
-The person who painted it did crummy prep work and it shows, the white paint is starting to peel slightly and show the true blue (it really was blue in the past).
-It needs a fuel level sending unit (pump is new within past 5 months though)
-The speedometer will blank out from time to time (however the other gauges work fine).
-It needs a muffer and both tailpipes.
-Like I said the driver's side airbag had been removed thus causing the light to come on.
It's on Craigslist for $2000, I'll bottom dollar it at $1700 for any
member. Just let me know if interested. 515-314-3184.
Thanks,
Collin
