My patience has run out with this thing and it's time to move on. Looking for a quick sale, since this was my DD for the past couple years, and I want to spend as little time as possible mooching vehicles from my friends.
Details: 4.0/AX15/231, D30/D35 with 3.55's. One of 400 built in 1994 with a factory 5 speed. Odo doesn't work correctly- Jeep has at least 225k on it if I had to guess.
Modifications:
-KOR radiator support
-Ruffstuff D30 cover
-IRO HD tie rod
-OME 2" medium duty coils
-TnT front trackbar/bracket
-3 out of 4 shocks are OME
-245/75R16 Duratracs on TJ moabs- probably 50% tread
-1.25" Spidertrax spacers
-OEM TC and gas tank skid
-Rear hitch
-5.9 seat swap- seats are really nice with no tears
-Rossbent light bar on front with 4" Ruffstuff HID's
-Alpine HU and speakers
-The pinnacle of ZJ modifications: 5.9 roof rack
Recent stuff:
-Clutch/flywheel/throwout bearing was done in the spring
-Starter is a week old
-Fuel pump was done in September
-Rear main seal and oil pan gasket was done twice because I'm dumb
-CPS was done a year ago
-Drag link is a couple months old
-Bunch of other repairs done as well since I've bought it
Problems:
-Steering column just started making a racket and the jeep does not seem to be turning to the right correctly- haven't bothered to diagnose
-Heater core leaks
-Steering box is sloppy. You can have the one out of my 5.9 that I'm parting if you buy this.
-Speedo works when it wants to
-May need a wheel bearing in front
-TRE needs replacing at pitman arm- this is sitting on the P/S floor of the jeep, so you get to keep it!
-Transmission is making an odd noise in the clutch area, throwout bearing is a little noisy already
-Leaks oil near the distributor
-Driver's door is sagging, pins to fix will come with, latch was repaired by expert body man (me)
-Rockers are f-ed thanks to 20 years of being in NE and my piss poor driving skills. Luckily there are plastic covers over them.
-Hatch is dented, but in a way where the latch doesn't jam up, so this really counts as a plus/modification
$1400 OBO!
