AMC 360 well built with virtualy no time on it. Taurus electric fan (needs to be hooked up), DUI distributor.
727 trans fresh rebuilt.
D-300 t-case
chebbie 10 bolt front with 3.73 gears
sterling (ford) 10.25 rear (comparable if not stronger than a D-70) with 3.55 gears. One axle would need to be regeared OR if you wanted different gears for both...
SOA front and rear with waggy springs up front and RE 2.5" springsin the rear.
The tires pictured do not go with the jeep BUT I do have a set of 4 37X12.50's (75-80% )...all it needs is some 16.5 rims to mount them on which I am willing to get. Tires are pictured below
What it needs:
Fuel tank drained and fresh gas added. Gas in it is bad. I have heard engine run and it is strong.
tranny has fluid in it BUT has never had the fluid circulated.
needs driveshafts. I have various shafts that can be used to make good shafts for it.
It has true dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers BUT the passenger side is completely disconnected. It was originally intended to have a driver drop t-case and of course the D-300 is passenger drop.
The tub is in very good shape as is the frame. The only rust other than some surface rust is on the tail gate ...about a 50 cent sized area that is bad...BUT this is not structural.
Even has a decent rear bumper on it.
It also needs the tie rod and drag link. Driver side has a flat top knuckle and aftermarket steering arm already on it. Passenger side is NOT a flat top.
Has on 140 psi onboard air with 2.5 gallon (I think) tank and lines run front AND rear.
I more or less jumped on this because it was a good deal but am realizing I wanted more of a light duty rig for street driving and occasional trails...this one when done would be more hard core as it is built heavier duty.
The only part I have spoken for is the soft lower doors.
The soft upper/frames are going with the jeep AND it has the factory hard lower/half dors as well. TJ front buckets with factory YJ rear seat and the soft top on it is in very good shape.
Sale price: $6000 OBO
What I am looking to do is trade for a YJ '91+. 4 or 6 cyl doesn't matter. I prefer stock but if it is slightly modified that's ok too. Basically I just want a smaller rig that I can pretty much get in and drive now. As little rust as possible obviously.
I would also trade for a CJ as long as it is in driving condition and not a rust bucket, TJ, or an M-715 (long shot I know).
Would also trade for a 1991 (intercooled) to 1993 dodge cummins manual trans truck...must be club cab and prefer under 225K miles.
