1991 xj having a spark, misfire issue

Been having an issue with my 1991 Cherokee 4.0. it’s started to misfire/stumble on acceleration when at operating temperature. Accelerates and runs fine untill then. Seems to have gotten progressively worse, as it would do it occasionally up untill the last week or so to the point I’ve stopped driving it, it will idle fine but any time the gas pedal is pressed it happens. Fuel pressure is fine at rail, checking spark between coil and distributor it seems to be skipping a spark as well as being a weak spark.

What do the spark plugs show? Have you done a compression test?
