(i want to make this a low budget to free project - fun times!)
thanks for any insite - even if it's "your gay, IFS is worthless"

Thanks in advance

They have the same four cylinder as the arly 90s rangers. The one with two spark plugs per cylinder. They seem to be tough all I see in the background in iraq when I watch the news is Toyotas and Nissans.

Tough as nails lil' truck!!!

That 2.4 L (I think) is no slouch as far as performance either.

My ex had a '90 that she abused in every way possible and the only thing that gave up the ghost was the paint. 14 years in the sun & weather with ONE coat of wax (that I applied).

Go fer it!!!!

They're great trucks, and surprisingly quick for a four banger. My dad had a '95 2.4l/5 speed that would fly for a 4 cylinder. I gave that truck hell when I was in high school and it took it and took it and took it. It still had the original clutch (along with everything else except brakes and tune up parts) when he sold it at nearly 200K. It still ran as good as it was new and still had good power and never used a drop of oil. He has a 2001 now and it already has 100K on it and its still going strong.

Btw, are you sure about the Nissan using the same engines as Fords? Isn't that Mazda? Ford owns 25% of Mazda. My dad's '95 had zero relation to Ford, the same with the newer ones.

Yep..... you're right. It's Mazda that has the close association with Ford.

Than goodness for Ford's sake!!!! :laugh3:
