1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible
Car was fully restored back in 2005 with all new everything it seemed. Every part replaced on the car was replaced with OER (Original Equipment Reproduction) parts from Classic Industries if at all possible, or similar. Car has approximately 1200-1500 miles on it since. There was NOT ONE wearing part that wasn’t replaced. So car is basically a 69 firebird that was built in 2005.

Car has a Chevy 350 crate motor, with full roller hydraulic cam, lifters, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads, intake manifold and carb. HEI Dist, alum radiator, Black Max electric fan. Car sounds very Tough.

Transmission is a T350 rebuilt by Art Carr with a Art Carr converter. Rear-end is a GM 10bolt with a New posi and 3.73 gears, all new bearings and brakes
.
Front end was fully rebuilt with all new every bushing, springs, 1” lower spindles, big disc brakes, bearings etc. New Hotchkis front and rear Thick sway bars and KYB shocks. Rear has new 1” lower performance springs, KYB shocks, and bushings.

The exterior was originally painted back in 2005 by a sub par shop that we thought was qualified to do at least era appropriate quality and look at the time. About 2 yrs ago we took it in and had the entire body stripped! All paint and any fillers or rust etc, were removed. All seams were fixed and body was coated and painted 1999 Corvette Red and a Trans Am hood and lower valance was added.

The interior was redone in 2005 with Recaro cloth in black including some vinyl for accents. And seat springs and front belts were replaced. A custom center counsel was built and covered in matching cloth that houses a CD stereo that has a IPOD plug, as well as a set of 6” speakers. The dash is untouched and no holes or items were modified in the stock dash. The doors also have a set of 6” speakers, both front and rear speakers are top brand (over 600$ discounted price for them). In the trunk is a sub box with 2 12” Top brand subs, and 2 MTX top level amps, with I think 1500 watts total. The entire floor and doors and truck area is Dynamat’ed.

Wheels are a 17” era looking 5 spoke chrome star style, with road race tires.

Originally the car had over $38,000 dollars invested in to the initial price of the car and the restoration. Then few years ago the body and paint was over $5000.

Car has been sitting for about 8 months and only got driven about 1200-1500 miles since bought. The interior has faded some, and the headers have a few leaks. The car was just detailed and looks fantastic!

This car gets looks no matter where you go or what age the crowd is. Car needs someone to appreciate it and use it on occasion.

Accepting respectable offers over $22,000. Not looking for trades.
