Today was the 10 year anniversary of me and the Jeep! 10 years ago today I picked up my 1997 Jeep Cherokee Country for my first car at 16 years old. Only had 75,000 miles on it and it was CLEAN! 10 years and 155,000 miles later we are still together! So here is to you old friend! May we see many more years and miles together!

Couldn't find any good old or current pictures of me and the Jeep so this will have to do I guess.

I know! I really need to I mean I have been on here since '05 haha Money is still kind of tight for me these days hoping that changes soon though. As soon as I get a little more money in a membership is the first thing I plan to buy! has been so incredibly helpful to me over the years and I will definitely be giving back as soon as I can!

My folks bought a 91 2dr ax15 new off the lot when i was 7, begged them not to trade it in 5years later, i miss that jeep, so many good memories

My grandfather still drives the 91 mj i learned to drive stick in.

Nice! I'm coming up on 7 years with mine....same deal too. Bought it in High School when I was 15. Mom was nice enough to take a loan out in her name that I made the payments on so I could have a late model XJ with only 62K on it.

Now at 164K and still havin a blast!

I will have had my 88 ten years in April. I have bought an 89, 96, and a 2000 since buying my 88 but have sold them all because I like this one most.

Side question........is that a homemade roofrack?

Nope. Its an Aluminum rack made by KargoMaster. The aluminum version is no longer available or atleast it wasn't the last time I checked. They stopped showing it available about 2 years after I bought it. It wasn't cheap, close to $500 but I wanted to keep the weight up there low so I wouldn't get too top heavy. I could have bought a Surco but I wanted the aerodynamic properties of the KargoMaster rack to keep wind noise down. All in all its a good rack, had my 31" spare up there for 4 years no problems what-so-ever. Took it off after I stepped up to 33s and it actually gave me 2 MPGs back on the highway haha The spare 31" tire and rim is for sale if anyone is interested! Un-used KM1!
