After reading all the "Oil Priming" threads on various forums, I wish i would have known about the vasoline trick when i had the pan off. I spent maybe 1.5-2 min spinning, but i wasnt timing it and it felt like an eternity. Clockwise is correct then? Would filling the oil filter manually...

I just got done installing my junkyard 4.0L. I had the head done, new gaskets, oil pan, rear main, ect.... Im trying to prime the Oil pump by hand before i fire it up. I spun the pump for a while and have yet to see any oil come out of the pushrods/rockers. Im spinning the oil pump...

I cant with out screwing up the new alt. I am going to just cut the wires at the plug, and crimp on the 2 ring terminals i need but I need to know if those field coil wires are polarized, does it matter which terminal either wire goes to? I just cant seem to figure it out, but im leaning to, no...
