I just picked up a 1988 MJ and want a build sheet.
Chrysler had nothing for me "it's too old".
Where in the truck would one find the build sheet (assuming it's still there)?
that'll buff out.
my 88 flopped on it's side and had the same look to it...(driver's side for me)
it's an odd feeling looking at the world at an odd angle, not moving and having the 4.0 purring along.
I was goofing off in the snow and clipped a buried curb at ~30.
UPDATE:
The last bits of the brushes fell out when I pulled the alternator free.
<rant>
What F'in moron changed the mount for the ND alternator?
I can swap the DELCO unit in my RENIX in about 10 minutes (including getting the tools).
A couple bolts, couple wires "bam" you're done.
For this...
My ND in the 94 just died at 242K miles.
I'm too lazy to spend the extra 2 minutes cracking open the case to change the brushes, I'm just swapping in a new one.
